Interpreting
The translation agency Language Fair will help you to understand everyone during presentations, summits, business negotiations or other business meetings. We offer three types of interpreting: simultaneous, consecutive, and guide-translation.
Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation is carried out by the translator at the same time with the lecturer, without any interruptions. It is complex work and demands special preparation and immense concentration from the translator. For this reason, there are always two translators in a sound booth who will each take a half hour shift throughout the presentation and meeting proceedings.
As needed, we periodically collaborate with linguists from different countries to render local linguistic support for your project in almost every country. Moreover, we work with the various experts in carrying out technical maintenance of the interpreting equipment on European territory and beyond.
All of our translators must pass a rigid selection process before gaining a contract with our company. As a result, you can safely entrust simultaneous interpretation of your meeting to us!
Preparation for the project:
In preparation for interpreting services the linguists need to familiarize themselves on the subjects to be covered during the event. Since the oral translation occurs in real time, the translator does not have an opportunity to search for terms or for studying professional slang. Therefore, as a preliminary, the linguist should be thoroughly acquainted with the terminology and specificity of the subjects of translation.
In order to receive the highest quality of interpreting services, it is typically necessary for the client to provide the interpreter with simultaneous and consecutive draft copies of performances of lecturers and/or presentations. If the information for acquaintance is not given, we cannot guarantee faultless translation quality.
Consecutive interpretation
Consecutive interpretation is usually employed during intimate occasions with a small number of participants, during business negotiations, seminars, industrial visits and short presentations.
In this case, unlike the simultaneous interpretation, the speaker must pause to allow time for the translator to present the presentation in another language. This requires additional time, however. In order to provide consecutive translation, no equipment is required.
In order to receive quality interpreting, the consecutive translator has to have the experience and vocational training necessary to “catch" nuances hurriedly to provide a complete and precise translation. In a database of the translation agency Language Fair, the best translators will be selected for your projects. For you, this means you can put your trust in our expert hands.

The guide-translation
This is the most elementary form of translation. Any beginning linguist will be in a position to assist our clients. Guide-translators are required during the visiting of cultural activities or walks in an unfamiliar country. We will have the pleasure of providing you with a benevolent guide-translator. Our guide-translators will make your stay in a country more interesting and enjoyable.
